Day I:

Arrival inTbilisi. Meeting at theTbilisiInternationalAirport; check in at the hotel.

Day II:

The citybreak tour offers you the sightseeing ofTbilisi, visiting the historic and architectural monuments, describing the 1500 year-old history of the city. Ancient districts are remarkable with ornamented houses with balconies, narrow streets and diversified architectural style. Here, You can meet the temples of 6 different religious confessions, neighbouring each other.

You can visit the following sights during the city-break tour:

  • The Sameba cathedral (the monastery complex, with the main large – scale dome building of the church 97 meters high);
  • TheMetekhiChurch(dated with the XIII century, from which you can enjoy the great view over the ancient districts ofTbilisi);
  • Abanotubani and the Mosque (in this part of the city, there are sulfur baths; this was where the legend about foundingTbilisiwas born);
  • The Narikala Fortress (medieval castle, erected on the beautiful hill, creates the composition of the most beautiful city view);
  • The top of the Sololaki mountain, “The Mother of Georgia”;
  • Zoroaster (fire worshiping) temple, named “Ateshga”;
  • Bethlehemchurches of the “Kldisubani” (rocky area);
  • Synagogue;
  • Meidani and the Armenian Church;


  • Art Saloons, workshops, exhibitions, etc;
  • The Sioni Cathedral (the XII century dome church);
  • Walking along the riverside, across the “BridgeofLove” (the contemporary architectural model, presented in the combination with the ancient town);
  • The King’s Square;
  • TheAnchiskhatiChurch(one of the most ancient Christian buildings inGeorgia, dated with the VI Century);
  • Theatre of Marionettes;
  • The Art Museum of Georgia (The “Gold Fund”, where the exhibits dated with different period are preserved, among them is the Lord’s Icon not of human making, gilded all over).
  • Back to the hotel in Tbilisi. Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day III:

Breakfast at the hotel.

This region of Georgia is famous for vine yards and wine making; in the evening, you will experience wine sampling in Georgian cellar and test the famous Georgian wines.

  • St. Nino’s Monastery complex (visiting the churches and a tower of the monastery surrounded with the fortification);
  • Sighnaghi (one of the most beautiful towns of Kakheti region, with historic monuments and tiny houses with nice balconies. Walking along the tourist path, you will visit the districts of the town, the King Erekle’s fence  and other sights);
  • Exhibitions and museums (the Sighnaghi is the mother town of the world famous painter Niko Pirosmani. The city museum is rich in expositions, among which there are the paintings by Niko Pirosmani).
  • Lunch in SighnaghiDeparture towards Telavi.
  • Architectural complex of theRoyalPalace(remains of the palace, art museum, small churches surrounded by the stone fence);
  • Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day IV:

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure towards Tusheti. The passes through the village Pshaveli winding along the gorge of the river Tori. Ascending the main watershed ringe of the Caucasus and crossing theAbanoPass(the highest highway inGeorgialocated at the 3 000 m. above the sea) arrival in Tusheti in the Alazani gorge of the Khiso. Staying at the Tusheti region Administrative centre- Omalo.

Lunch at the guesthouse in Omalo. Visiting thevillageofTusheti, including the following local sights:

•       Shenako (typical Tusheti village, with stone-built houses and ornamented wooden balconies with newels);

•       Diklo (one of the most beautiful villages, with which many interesting stories and legends Lunch at the guesthouse in Omalo. the remains of the ancient village – fortification are still preserved nearby, laid out over a steep rock. Visiting the village of Tusheti, including the following local sights:

Day V:

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visiting the village Keselo of Omalo with the following sights:

  • Keselo (ancient part of Omalo, military tower. From here the wide panoramic view opens on the Gometsari gorge and other villages of the Tusheti);
  • KeseloMuseum(the museum is set in one of the towers; the exposition material of the museum has been obtained as a result of archeological excavations in Kakheti region; these are the objects, describing the customs and habits oflocal people).
  • Departure towards the Gometsari gorge. Tusheti is divided in several areas, one of them is Gometsari.
  • Dotchu (one of the most beautiful Tusheti villages, with the specific location. Tusheti houses with stony roofing are preserved here).
  • The Jvariboseli (one of the farthest villages in the Gometsaripart of Tusheti. Tushetians are famous for horse riding. Near this village the great feast is celebrated, which is finalized with great horse racing);

Day VI:

Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Departure towards the farther Tusheti. The farther Tusheti is one of the most beautiful parts of Georgia, featured with the great number of towers.
  • During the tour, you will visit the following sights: Dartlo (one of the most beautiful villages of Tusheti, where there are the towers with pyramid roofing that gives the special attraction to the village);
  • Kvavlo (the village on the top of the village Dartlo to which the path winds up)

  • Parsma (the village, set on the high hill, with the flat stone roofed houses and fragments of towers around);
  • Girevi (villages, consisted of several areas; the situation of these areas are still clearly visible at present; part of towers are still preserved here);

Back to Omalo.Dinner and overnight stay.

Day VII:

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure towards Tbilisi. On the way to the capital city, visiting the Alaverdi Monastery Complex.

  • The Alaverdi Architectural Complex (the monastery was founded by another Assyrian Father – Ioseb Alaverdeli. The contemporary church is dated with XI century. The Alaverdi Complex includes the XI Century cross-dome church, the Royal pavilion, wine cellar and other buildings, intended for special purposes; it is surrounded with the great stony wall).
  • The Ikalto Monastery (the monastery was founded by one of the Thirteen Assyrian Fathers – Arsen Ikaltoeli, the spiritual academy also set here in the XI century)

Back to Tbilisi. Dinner and overnight stay.

Departure to the ancient, historic capital of Georgia – Mtskheta, which is included into the list of UNESCO World Culture Heritages.

During the tour, you can visit the following sights:

  • The Jvari Monastery (VI Century architecturally refined temple, matching the
  • surrounding nature. From here, the great panoramic view opens over the river gorge of the Mtkvari and the town ofMtkheta).
  • TheArmaziCastle(ancient settlement, the oldest layers of which are dated back to the IV – III centuries B. C. There are the ancient Romanian baths and the church, belonging to the antique period, there stood the pagan idol, with the residential halls, ancient cellar and the remains of other buildings)
  • Svetitskhoveli (the great complex of the cross-dome church, where the greatest sacred objects for the whole Christian world are buried– the Lord’s tunic and the cloak of the profit Eliah).

Lunch and departure toKutaisi; arrival inKutaisi, visiting theBagratiChurch;

  • TheBagratiChurch(the XI century large – scaled church significantly has been significantly damaged; its ruins are still preserved included into the list of UNESCO World Culture Heritages);

Visiting the Prometheus’s cave nearKutaisi.

  • Prometheus’ cave (karstic underground formations on the surface are represented as a unity of complex here, with the most beautiful rivers and diversified natural landscapes of the local underground world);

Dinner and overnight stay in Kutaisi.

Day IX:

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure to the direction of the Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti Region. Arrival in Zugdidi. Lunch

  • Visiting the residential museum of the Dadianis’ Dynasty.(The Palace rich in the museum fund dated with the XIX century, where one of the three masks of Napoleon and the Robe of Virgin Mary are preserved).

Departure towards Mestia (the distance of 140 km.). The road leads along the most beautiful gorge of the river Enguri. Arrival in Mestia. Check in at the hotel. Dinner at the local guesthouse and overnight stay.

Visiting the museums of Mestia and its surroundings.

  • SvanetiTowers(the Svanetian architectural sights, characteristic to this region only; from Mestia, you can enjoy one of the highest mountains in Georgia – Ushba);
  • Christian churches (some of the churches were decorated both from inside and outside in the villages of Svaneti – Mestia, Lenjeri and Latali).
  • The museum of Mestia (the exposition is rich in ethnographic material, characteristic to the everyday life of the Svanetian people; the most ancient manuscripts, churches and national objects, describing the local customs and habits are represented in the museum).

 Day X:

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure towards Ushguli (the distance of the 42 km.) passing through the villages of Svaneti. On the way, visiting the towers and churches. The way winds across the mountain range along the river gorge of the Mulkhura, keeping on the source of the river Enguri.

Ascending Ushguli, (Lunch) visiting the following sights:

  • Ushguli (it is included into the list of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritages. The Ushguli community consists of three villages, where there are Svanetian towers and residential houses. It is located 2200 m. above the sea being famous as the highest permanently populated region ofGeorgia).
  • Village Chazhashi museum (with the ethnographic expositions, characteristic to the everyday life of local people).
  • The Lamaria complex (this complex consists of separately standing towers, a small fence and a church. You can see the highest mountain top ofGeorgia, called – Shkhara from here, opening the glamorous landscape view with a dozen of Svaneti towers).

Back to the hotel in Mestia. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day XI:

Breakfast at the hotel.

The tour starts early morning visiting the snowy mountain places, where ice never melts throughout the year, visiting the following objects:

  • Visiting the Chaladi (at this snowy place, where the ice never melts throughout the year, you will see how rivers are born in mountains and flow out from the flank of hills);

Departure towards theBlack Seacoast. Lunch on the way to the city –Batumi. Arrival inBatumi.

Arrival toBatumi. Walking tour, visiting the sights of the city including the Boulevard.

During the tour, you will experience the rout from snowy mountains directly to the hot coast of theBlack Sea.

Departure to the town – Akhaltsikhe through the Goderdzi Pass, visiting the Zarzma Monastery and other sights, on the way:

  • The Zarzma Monastery (the monastery complex with the domed church)


  • Sightseeing of Akhaltsikhe (this town is an administrative centre of the Samtskhe – Javakheti Region; there is also the ancient historic town, called Rabati within the town).

Dinner and overnight stay in Akhaltsikhe.

Day XIV:

Departure towards Vardzia Monastery Complex

  • The Khertvisi castle (the medieval town – castle with high walls and citadels).
  • Vani’s caves (ancient monastery settlement in the multi-level rocky caves).

Lunch at the guesthouse;

Visiting the Vardzia Complex (XII Century multi-level monastery complex, consisting

  • of multiple caves; among them are the domed church, cellars, drugstores, etc. The large – scaled complex gives the deep and unforgettable impression to the visitors). Arrival in Borjomi;

Dinner and overnight stay;

Day XV:

Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Borjomi (the famous balneology and climate resort ofGeorgia, where the world famous natural spring of mineral water – Borjomi flows out. You can taste the warm, natural mineral water with gas in theBorjomiPark).

Departure towards Gori, visiting the following local sights:

  • The Stalin’s house–museum (Stalin was born in the town ofGori. Here you can visit the house, where his childhood passed; you can also see his personal carriage and private objects, at the museum, which attracts the great number of visitors);

Lunch in Gori, continuing the rout towards Uflistsikhe.

  • TheGoriCastle(the citadel, erected over the high rocky hill in the heart of the town Gori).
  • Uflistsikhe (the cave town belonging to the antique period, located over the 9 hectors of the rocky hills, with ancient theatre, pagan and Christian churches).

Back toTbilisi. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day XVI:

Transfer to theTbilisiInternationalAirport. Departure fromTbilisi.
